ADVANTAGES OF BEING A RESERVIST?
When you join our club you are guaranteed to get the comics you reserve. You also get free (that’s right free) bags and boards. And we know how expensive supplies are getting. For a cherry on top you get 10% off all our amazing back issues. Also comics pulled go thru the Mrs. C inspection process which is iron clad and full of love . Any books less than near mint, don’t make the grade.
WHAT DOES IT COST TO BECOME A RESERVIST?
It is free!
HOW OFTEN DO I HAVE TO PICK UP YOUR BOOKS?
We prefer at least every 2 weeks but hold books for up to 1 month. After a month we will give you a reminder call to come in.
We also make other arrangements if you can only pick up your comics less frequently.
WHEN ARE MY RESERVE BOOKS PULLED?
They are pulled Tuesdays and always ready for Wednesday pick up.
DO WE REQUIRE CREDIT CARD INFO ON FILE?
We practice the honor system. We do sometimes require deposits on special orders.
HOW ABOUT MINI SERIES AND SPECIALS?
If a mini series is one that we feel the vast majority of customers will want then we match it to the parent title. For example Batman/TMNT mini series we matched to both Batman reservist and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reservists. If its not obvious then we don’t match it and leave it up to the customer to inform us that they want it on their reserve list. Inform us by email, calling the store or telling us when you are in the store.
DO WE SHIP COMICS?
We have customers all over the state and country that we ship to. We pull great copies and they get put in bags and boards and packaged super securely. We havent had a damage problem to date! All you have to do is pay the shipping costs.
WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL MY RESERVE STATUS?
Just tell us. Things happen along the road of life and we will understand. Just try and do so asap so we can return your books to stock. Common courtesy on both ends is what we strive for at JC Comics. We just ask that you honor your commitment and pick up the books that we have pulled for you already if canceling.
HOW DO I SIGN UP?
Stop by the store and get a reservist form at the register.
